Bedside Table by Major Panic

I was asked to make a whole bedroom full of furniture by a friend. I didn't quite make it all, well I made everything except the bed. This photo of one of a pair of bedside tables is all that remains of the photos I took. I ended up making a blanket box, dresser table & the bedsides. It is made of Black Wattle from a log I bought from a logger who was working up in the Daintree aera of North Queensland. The dimensions are: 600mm (W) X 350mm (D) X 600mm (T) and was finished with an oil/varnish mix. The front edges of the top and shelf are scolloped and meat safe mesh was used on the sides.
