This cabinet was borne out of a need to store all the drilling and routing bits and pieces I seemed to accumulate. It's made of leftover timber from other jobs. The carcase is Black Wattle from the Daintree, Rosewood door frames and shelves, White Cedar boodmatched door panels and Pidgeonberry Ash legs. The carcase was dovetailed together as well as the drawers, door frames & door shelves. The dimensions are; (cabinet without legs) (W) 620mm X (D) 400mm X (H) 540. With the legs it's (W) 900mm X (D) 400mm X (H) 900mm.
The finish is hand rubbed polyurethane varnish(3 coats). The finish has a beautiful tactile feel to it but it took longer to finish than it did to build.
