Silky Oak & Black Bean Table
My wife wanted a new hall/entrance/display table. So I drew a few rough designs & the result is pictured here. I had a bit of help with final design from my friends on the Woodwork Forums bulletin board.
I gotta admit, I'm not rapped with the design as I'm not a big fan of solid legs but the wife likes it. I think I should have used curved joinery in the table top to match the leg joinery. Overall a relatively simple piece to construct.
Overall dimensions are; 1600mm (W) X 350mm (D) X 900mm (T). The finish is Miratone 30% gloss lacquer.
