Craft Case
This box was made for a craft teacher of Paper Tole. The carcase and lid frame are Northern Silky Oak while the lid panel is book matched Camphor Laurel from a log I salvaged locally. The base is quarter cut Silky Oak veneered ply. The handle I designed and made from laminated Silver Ash and Australian Red Cedar with the inlay strip of the same timbers. Overall size of the main storage area is aprox. 307 X 430 mm. A 50mm tool compartment at the rear completes the internal layout. Internal storage height is 65mm.
