Workshop Cabinet #1
Here’s a Quick & Dirty storage cabinet for the workshop.
It’s made of 2 sheets of 17mm Construction grade ply (C/D face) and edged in Kwila.
It’s 1600mm wide X 450mm deep X 970mm high. Construction could not have been simpler, just biscuits and miter joins. The drawer slides are HÄFELE full extension and will hold 45kg so I can see right to the back of the drawers, they are sooo smooth in operation. The door hinges are from an old kitchen cabinet and the handles are brushed aluminium and as cheap as chips.
The finish was nitrocellulose lacquer and the cabinet received 3 coats.
